Men and the nature were always close partners

“Till now man has been up against nature; from now on he will be up against his own nature.” - Dennis Gabor

Many of us, men, living in modern luxury world, simply forgot where we came from. Being born in this hermetic, synthetic world, we are not allowed by our imagination to think about different worlds. It is sad fact, but the world we see after our birth, becomes for us the only known standard. If our grandparents adopted different lifestyle, we would not be likely to find out how we are supposed to live. This may sound like science-fiction, but it already happened to us. Despite our inner nature, which definitely screams in pain, despite our bodies and minds, adopted over 40 000 – 100 000 years to pre-agricultural life – we stubbornly force ourselves to accept new conditions. Many of us have never noticed this struggle in our bodies, and most would deny it. But majority of today's common diseases and disorders, diagnosed only during last century, are those signs of problems with adaptation. Yet nobody perceive these new medical phenomenons as a result of recent dramatic shift in living conditions. Instead, helpless medicine relies on drugs and chemistry. The best example of how much we forgot about importance of our environment, is the story of coronary thrombosis, a condition unknown by the medical professions before early 1900. When first cases were recorded in 1912, it still appeared to be very exotic illness. But just in the next eighty years, alongside the rejection of the then eating habits (best simulating natural human diet up to now), a 300 percent rise in vegetable oil consumption and shift from animal sources to carbohydrates, this rare heart condition became a plague. Perhaps, physics who first recorded and studied this new problem, would link it to this change in living and eating. But they are gone, and it is mainly surgeons field of interest now. USDA data from early 1900 clearly proves this rejection of animal food and increase in consumption of vegetable oils, trans fats, flours and sugar. The very same USDA created eating guidelines to save us from diseases, but it leads us towards even greater damages, as they misinterpret this data. Being constantly disappointed with their recommendations, unable to improve health with carbohydrate diet – we shifted our attention to medications, to believe in magic pill and its powers. Initiated by our parents and grandparents, who have let issues of pride, profit and prejudice to drive medicine over the past century, we continue this trend. And now, it is us who suffer the consequences

Therefore, it is you who must fight for your right to live and die free from modern diseases. Knowledge and separation from government's false, are essential steps towards better tomorrow. It lies only in your interest, to take care of yourself. You are alone and the more you understand and know, the more alone you may feel. But at last, this solitude may be a life-saving feeling.

It is important for you to understand the importance of your environment, from the air you breathe and water you drink, to the food which builds every cell of your body. Which is all required to sustain life. The truly wise men, recorded in human history, from east to west, understood and honoured their surroundings. They knew, that every man must take care of his environment, because it created him, supports him and he is the living part of it.
In contrast with today, most men have not only turned against the nature, by mistaking chemicals with food, but what is even worse – we started to look for faulty genes in ourselves. What this proves, is that we are more likely to believe in nature's fault that caused illness, not our own! This is against the most basic and natural conception, that “a gene will not express itself at all unless the environment surrounding it becomes favourable to that expression”. So whatever we found in our genes, it will not be the case, just final effect.

Sadly, it looks like all that ancient beliefs, religions and mythologies have been closer to truth, than our beliefs in institution. Egypt cult of the Sun god, Greek mythology or Chinese Ying-Yang – all held a key to your health and wellness. Created to explain nature's phenomena, focused on your relation and interaction with the environment, they possibly provided better answers, than medicine could give you today. Now, after we have learnt more scientific facts, we have dumped this previously feared world. While long time ago we used to create gods to make an illusion of safety and to stop feelings of helplessness and solitude, recent technological development allowed us to transfer our trust from gods to government bodies. This trend is clearly visible today, and can be recorded and even linked to government's actions. For example, in Britain less than half of the population believes in god and this numbers are in decline. By contrast in Poland, a country harassed with three hundred years of partitions, starting point for two World Wars, led for many years by Soviet Union – as much as 97 percent of population is religious - despite Poland is free for 30 years. It seems, that in times of crisis, when governments cannot take care of us, we turn to other carers. Thus, it proves that British people are in greater danger, relying more and more on government. Unfortunately, it is very rare when we turn to ourselves or to the nature, as just few cases of men living in woods during wars have proven.
It seems, that when everything in this world became clear to us, we lost interest in nature forever. It was no longer fascinating nor attractive and it lost its magic. Civilised world backed by science appeared to be more problem-solving. But it was just illusion, that men can provide better solutions than these intended for us by evolution.

We are linked to our natural habitat indisputably, with every body part being a response to environmental conditions we used to live in. Like a plant, permanently tied with soil, so we are linked to and dependent upon everything what surrounds us. Our bodies are everything what let us to survive during tough conditions of Ice Age, and to adapt to current living we would need another 40 000 years. The time, when men started to perceive themselves as separate body, could mean a beginning of the end. Not many of us are really aware of the fact, that like every civilisation in history of the world had its beginning, rise, and fall – so we do. Our civilisation is just another project, which has to end sometime. Also our kind – Homo sapiens sapiens (thinking thinking) – is just another nature's project. We used to thing of ourselves as the great winners of evolution contest, but the truth is that we are still in hands of this mystery force, called Mother Nature. When you look at the timetable of Homo kind, you can see that we are not special in any way – and our existence is one of the shortest comparing to other genres in our tribe, all extinct now. For example, Homo erectus survived for five times longer than we exist, but Homo antecessor and Homo neanderthalensis finished the run at the point where we are now. From earth's point of view, we have caused more harm than good – leading to extinction of other animals, destroying and polluting our planet. If we vanished from this planet, it would mean 7 million years of evolutionary turn back and new opportunities for chimpanzees – which DNA differs from ours in 1.6 percent only. If we had ever vanished from this planet, it would mean we have lost connection with our environment to the point it killed us. Remember, that it is manly domain to control our environment, but it is suicide to cut ourselves off it.

In fact, separation between men and nature can be disastrous (women are more mobile and better tolerate changes). Men – naturally born hunters, killers, builders, protectors and explorers, physically attached to earth – when taken away from their environment, have lost respect to it. We forgot, that close relation with nature is truly manly domain. To prove my point, try to find a hill – far away from houses and roads (that may be hard). Alternatively find trees, or any green bush (its green calms you and relaxes). Sit and exhale deep. Feel the wind, hear the silence. You are going to feel deeply relaxed, because you cannot see other forms around nor hear anything. Your constantly alarmed body, can finally take a break. This is your environment! The longer without and further from this you are, the more unhappy you will be. Your inner instincts, which evolved to protect you and others, do not allow you to ignore this crowd and loud noise on the street, even if you think you got used to it. The point is, that you cannot lead stress-free and happy life, while living in the city. In fact, large cities torture your body and mind. Men living in smaller villages, tend to live happier and better social life. Large cities tendency to anonymous being and privacy, are against concept of community. For creatures like us, who evolved thanks to communication in groups, being lonely in the middle of the crowd can be indeed painful. Your inner nature, tortured by sounds of the concrete jungle will never let you rest. And this inner, unnecessary stress can ruin your manliness.

So choose your environment carefully.

For your own good stop believing in civilisation, as it will not save anyone from tough times, it just ensures our extinction. And it is not our environment, not the one intended by nature.
